To get video streamed to your iPhone, you need to go through an Apple-approved app or through the iTunes Store. NowStream hopes to change all that by allowing you to stream video to your iPhone via torrent files.
Developed by Sohail Prasad and showcased at the New York TechCrunch Hackathon, NowStream enables any iPhone user to easily access media found on torrent sites. Of course, there are a lot of legal issues that need to be sorted through, and Prasad is currently working on those as well as making sure the app reaches a stable build.
