After last month's shoot with Peyton Hillis in NYC's Times Square, EA Sports has finally unveiled the official cover art for Madden NFL 12. Not only that, but they've taken the wraps off the game's Hall of Fame Edition honoring Marshall Faulk, the first Madden cover athlete to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. For a price bump ($89.99), you not only get an embossed foil cover featuring Faulk, but a trading card autographed by Faulk himself as well as a Madden Ultimate Team Platinum Pack—13 trading cards featuring a combination of Madden cover athletes and Hall of Famers. (Oh, and up top there are three screenshots of Faulk in the game. What, no Colts jersey?)
So, to recap, here's why you might want the Hall of Fame Edition: a) You are Marshall Faulk, b) you are Marshall Faulk's mom, or c) Peyton Hillis had sex with your mom. Your choice. Madden NFL 12 goes on sale August 30.
