Somehow, Luca Venezia has made it work. As the founder of uber-hip label Trouble & Bass, he is a purveyor of some of today’s best dance music, a bridge between the world of fitted caps and strobe lights. As Drop the Lime, he's managed to meld two even more incongruous worlds: the aesthetics of rockabilly and the snappy hi-hats of house. His most recent single, “Hot as Hell,” fuses these genres into the same pummeling, infectious groove that most of his output thus far is known for.  For this show he promises backup singers, a live drummer, and Venezia himself on hollowbody guitar.—Finn Cohen
