Drumroll, please: Your Emmy Awards host for 2011 is... Jane Lynch? That's at leas the case if Fox has its way. The Glee Emmy winner has been tapped by the network to host the ceremonies when they air on Fox in September.
As is usually the case, Fox decided to have someone host the show that is also important to their network; and with Scotty McCreery presumably busy with whatever American Idol duties he'll have to take care of, that task fell to Lynch. The funnywoman was an Emmy-winner last year, though whether or not she can turn the trick again remains to be seen; after all, Lynch's role on Glee was significantly diminished during season two.
it's not official just yet, but let's just assume this one gets done. After all, Lynch knows people at the network.
