Hugh Grant Almost Replaced Charlie Sheen in "Two and a Half Men"

From one bad boy to another? Too bad this didn't happen.

This would have been major. Deadline reports that CBS and Chuck Lorre were in talks with Hugh Grant to replace Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men.

Grant was reportedly offered $1 million per episode, which would wind up banking him near $25 million for the full season. Unfortunately for Grant's accountants (and, OK, us too; he would have been good), the dreaded creative differences reared its ugly head and Grant bowed out.

No word yet on who CBS will look at next, but since it will probably be another "bad boy" can we just suggest Luke Perry and get it over with?
