Ever since its launch in 1962, The Incredible Hulk has been one of Marvel’s highest-selling and longest-running books on the market. But that all ends this summer as the book, now titled Incredible Hulks, will come to an end in issue #635, according to Newsarama.
Not only is this the last issue of the long-running series but it is also the end of writer Greg Pak’s tenure on the character, which began with 2006’s critical and commercial hit Planet Hulk. The series is set to end during a story arc titled Heart Of The Monster.
Is this really the end of the Hulk? No, not a chance. Expect the book to get a complete makeover and re-launch before the end of 2011. But nonetheless, this will be a story for fans of the Jade Giant to keep their eyes on.
