Not to be outdone by HBO, Starz and AMC, Cinemax is getting in the original series business... and it's not even a soft core porn!
Transporter, based on the Jason Statham film of the same name, will go into production soon, and the series has hired two stars. Chris Vance, who played a key role on the final season of Prison Break that you don't remember will play Frank, the for-hire underworld protagonist. Andrea Osvart will play Frank's female handler, a former CIA operative who, we'll guess, winds up falling for him. Or maybe not!
Look for Transporter sometime next year.
