Brooklyn swag spot the Bell House worms their way into our hearts yet again, this time by wagging $6 Maker's Mark Mint Juleps under our noses. There's scientific evidence that proves people have been led into traffic, off of piers, and into fatally complicated mechanical devices under the spell of quality bourbon. Even mediocre bourbon.

They're making Mint Juleps Saturday because it's the 137th Annual Kentucky Derby, that storied day where the only things that matter are horses, hats, and bourbon.

The party starts at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and the some of the events include a DJ set from Party Like It's 1999's Steven R. Reynolds, square dancing, and live band karaoke. All of these things get exponentially more fun with bourbon in your glass and guts.
