Brink launched on May 10 and gamers were greeted with awful lag, minor glitches and a soul-crushing data corruption bug that erased your character data.  In other words, the game fell flat on its face.  Splash Damage did react quickly, however, and released a patch on all platforms the very next day which smoothed out many of the issues.  It’s refreshing to see a developer listen to concerns and put out timely communications for their customers.  They have even announced that they will be offering a free DLC in June to show their appreciation for the patience of their fans. The DLC will include new maps and content for players with details to follow soon.  There certainly isn’t anything wrong with free, so count us in. [via Bethesda Blog]
