BlackBerry users will see a change in the way they search the Net come this holiday season. At BlackBerry World 2011, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and RIM co-CEO Mike Lazaridis announced that Microsoft's Bing maps and search will be the default search and mapping services on all BlackBerry devices. We're guessing this is a play to catch up to Google which is the default search and mapping service on the iPhone and all Android devices. Not much else is known, but Lazaridis added that this partnership is more than search and mapping and will involve system-level integration "far beyond a search box".
