Who would have thought Hot Rod and 50 Cent's business arrangement would have lasted longer than 50's partnership with Sleek Audio? We surely didn't. But, alas, here we are in 2011 with Hot Rod still signed to G-Note Records, and Sleek Audio LLC announcing that it's parting ways with 50's G-Unit Brands, Inc.

50 Cent and Sleek Audio first announced their partnership at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show where the first models from the "Sleek by 50" line were previewed. The $400 headphones were called "Wireless Hybrids" and were able to work with or without a cable. 50 Cent began to promote the headphones on the Internet through videos and his single artwork.

Sleek says it is currently re-evaluating its over-the-ear headphone line which was set to drop sometime this year.

Maybe Dre and Jimmy will let him on the Beats team.
