The highly anticipated white iPhone 4 has finally entered production at Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd factory, Reuters reported this morning.

The phone faced many delays in 2010 due to various manufacturing issues, forcing Apple to announce that it would not arrive in stores until spring 2011.

In February, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, speaking with Engadget, said all the issues related to the white iPhone, particularly a flash and lens related problem, have been solved and that the phone would being to be produced.

Then in March, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, Phil Schiller, confirmed via his Twitter page that the phone would be availbe this spring, and that "it is a beauty!"

The report has the white iPhone 4 being available on both Verizon and AT&T by the end of April.
