It's safe to say that Warner Bros. and director Kevin Tancharoen have a recipe for web TV success: 3.6 million people tuned in to watch the first episode of his series Mortal Kombat: Legacy, which was spawned from his short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. It was the 26-year-old Los Angeles native's original hope to secure a gig creating fatalities with MK on the big screen and now Warner Bros. is revisiting the idea of making a feature film.

The action-adventure web series stars Michael Jai White as Major Jackson "Jax" Briggs, Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade, Darren Shahlavi as Kano, and Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion and explores how everyone's favorite video game characters ended up participating in the Mortal Kombat tournament.

If you haven't had the chance to see the show yet, be sure to check out both episodes of Mortal Kombat: Legacy in our related links section below. Keep an eye out for the remaining episodes, which hit DVD/Blu-ray later this year.
