Looks like all those rumors and reports were true. Not only is the white iPhone 4 real, some dude in the UK somehow managed to buy one before its official release date.
According to Engadget, the guy bought the phone from a Vodafone location. The sale went through thanks to the salesperson ringing up the phone as a black iPhone. Right after the purchase, Vodafone sent out a mandate to stop selling the white iPhones "until next week".
Last week Reuters reported that the white iPhone had entered production at the Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd factor in Taiwan, and that it was scheduled to go on sale at the end of April on both Verizon and AT&T.
