According toJoBlo, Warner Brothers sent an urgent letter to all theater owners telling them that all copies of the The Hangover Part II trailer "need to be destroyed."
After being released on the web last week, the trailer was prominently attached to The Source Code as well as other recent releases. While the letter did not give a reason why the trailer had to be pulled, it did say that the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) ordered the move.
It’s an odd move because the MPAA has to approve every trailer before it comes out, so that means they probably got some nasty letters from people complaining about the vulgarities in the trailer.
But the MPAA is no match for the awesome power of the internet. So if you want to view the trailer anyway just check out our coverage of it here.
