This latest bit of Nintendo gossip has us frothing at the mouth. Mario's creator (and the guy who seems to smile 24/7), Shigeru Miyamoto, recently conducted an interview with French site Gameblog in which he revealed the news that we've all been praying for: a core Super Mario Game for the 3DS is on its way, possibly this year. Miyamoto stated that "I promise to do everything to deliver your new Mario this year." Our hype meter levels are now extremely high, but we're still keeping our expectations in check.
