Parting is such sweet sorrow for Steve Carell, that he's actually going to hang around The Office for a little while longer. A very little while longer. NBC announced on Monday that Carell's final Office episode on April 28 will last 50 minutes.
The episode—which isn't the season finale—will run from 9 p.m. until 9:50 p.m., and be immediately followed by an extended edition of Parks and Recreation. 30 Rock will air following Parks at 10:30 p.m. If you're wondering where Outsourced is going for the night, it has been, well, outsourced. The much-derided comedy won't air because of the expanded episodes before it.
