If you've been waiting patiently for a sequel to The Firm, your time has come. NBC is in talks to bring a sequel to The Firm to primetime.
Already picked up for a 22-episode run overseas, The Firm will follow Mitch McDeere (played by Tom Cruise in the 1993 film version) ten years after the events of the seminal John Grisham novel. No word yet on casting, or if NBC will actually pick this up, but judging from their lineup, and the flagging results of the Law & Order franchise, expect them to seriously consider this one.
