If you're the type to indulge in that sticky-icky, you'll want to avoid finding yourself in the same situation as this film's pothead.

With 4/20 around the corner, we thought it'd be suitable to look at a new stoner comedy.

In the indie High RoadJames Pumphrey plays a troubling musician/weed pusher who, despite his moderate income, finds himself with a very pregnant girlfriend (Lizzy Caplan), a waning music career, and at the center of a botched drug deal. Directed by comedian/actor Matt Walsh (a regular in all of The Hangover director Todd Philips’ films), High Road undoubtedly boasts a strong supporting cast, which includes Ed Helms (The Office), Rob Riggle (The Daily Show), Abby Elliot (Saturday Night Live), Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh), Joe Lo Trugilo (Reno 911!), and Kyle Gass (Tenacious D).

This trailer seems a bit too discombobulated, but we have trust in the talents involved.  High Road makes its premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival next Friday, April 29. No wide release date has been set just yet.
