Fast & Furious fans, prepare to do celebratory donuts: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has confirmed plans to make a sequel to Fast Five (a.k.a. Fast & Furious 5), which hits theaters April 29.

Chris Morgan, who penned the third, fourth, and fifth entries of the series, has been hired to script Fast Six. Universal co-chairman Donna Langly recently praised Morgan for playing an "integral" role in the Vin Diesel-led series.

In Fast & Furious 5, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) are on the run from the feds, led by this year's Wrestlemania 27 host, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Series veterans Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Sung Kang also star in the action film.
