The clique-ification of Facebook continues as yesterday the company introduced the “Send” button, an upgrade over the “Like” button which was introduced a little over a year ago.
Situated next to the “Like” button on a web page, “Send” works in concert with FB’s “Groups” function, which as you might know, adds organization and classification to your friends list. Therein, “Send,” similarly to “Like,” shares webpages but instead, only to “Groups” that you choose.
For now, the new feature is slowly being rolled out and is only available on about 50 high-visibility sites such as Orbitz.—Devin Chanda
