Top Cow Productions and the National Free Comic Book Day committee have hooked up with 2K Games to produce The Darkness II: Confessions. The book will serve as a prequel to the game and will be released on May 7 at indie comic book stores nationwide. The Darkness—meaning the character itself (as voiced by Mike Patton), not the game—has appeared in a few past Free Comic Book Day offerings, but this is the first time the evil one gets its own look for the comic book holiday.
