Funnyman Bob Odenkirk is finally getting a chance to shine on his own. The frequent television guest star (Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother) will star in the live-action Regal Productions for Adult Swim.
The show will follow the titular production company, "which, in a strip mall in North Hollywood, churns out wedding videos, Internet ads, low-budget infomercials and even feature films for 'ancillary' markets." Sounds perfectly sleazy for a guy best known for playing up the comic sleaze. No word yet if Odenkirk's former Mr. Show with Bob and Dave partner David Cross will appear, but fingers crossed.
