Video: Anne Hathaway Confirms She's Catwoman

The actress sheds some light on Selina Kyle's presence in next year's "The Dark Knight Rises."

The co-host of the 83rd Annual Academy Awards just couldn't hold in the excitement any longer. Anne Hathaway erased all doubts when she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday to talk about her Oscar experiences, and it was there she uttered the name "Catwoman" in reference to her The Dark Knight Rises role.

Director Christopher Nolan has been tight-lipped when talking about Hathaway's interpretation of Selina Kyle, making sure to not mention the word "Catwoman." So the actress' namedrop is the best confirmation we should expect to receive, at least for the time being. The question is, though, can Hathaway get much sexier than this.

The Dark Knight Rises swoops into theaters July 20, 2012 with Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy (as the villainous Bane) all on board.
