Contrary to last week's reports, it seems that Peter and Bobby Farrelly's attempt to remake The Three Stooges is growing even more complicated. After waiting for Johnny Knoxville to accept, insiders say that, while the Jackass 3D star and frontman had some interest, no actual offer was extended.
Knoxville already has a couple of things in the works with Paramount, namely Mustache Riders with his comrades-in-comedy, Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn and the Broken Lizard team (Super Troopers). Also, there's First Man, about a hell-raising guy whose wife runs for President of the United States.
The Stooges reboot was said to be scheduled for an April shoot in Atlanta. But who will finally step up and join The Farrelly Brothers' long-gestating pet project?
