25. Wireless Video iPod
Source: Engadget (2006)
Engadget made it specifically clear that it usually ignores a majority of the rumors that hit the Internet. But after receiving info from two trusted sources close to the Apple camp, the tech site entertained the thought of a wireless video iPod with widescreen support. Just one month before this rumor hit the net, Apple had announced a new Nano and Shuffle, which lead many of us to think the company had more high-end products in-store. Five years later and still nothing. Well, unless you consider the wi-fi enabled iPod Touch a wireless, widescreen video iPod. Which, coincidentally, many do.
