Either this is some sort of ploy to trick the masses, or Apple has changed its policy on upcoming product announcements.
Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, Phil Schiller, confirmed on his Twitter page that highly anticipated, much-rumored "white iPhone will be available this spring." Not only that, Schiller said "it is a beauty!".
If you've been hoarding your pennies to cop a white iPhone, there ya go. Your frugalness won't be in vain. Well, probably.
