An image of a project marked confidential shows that Microsoft is “investigating user experiences and hardware for 2015.” The image doesn’t reveal much about what this hardware looks like beyond it being black, but it does rouse questions about what exactly we’re looking at here. We’ve seen some job postings at Microsoft that indicate that they are hiring hardware engineers and the 2015 timeframe sounds about right for the next-gen consoles to appear.
