Microsoft put up some intriguing job postings and the internet rumor mill has been working overtime trying to decipher what it all means.  The attention-grabbing listings are for a hardware verification engineer, a VLSI Graphics Architect, and a VLSI performance architect.  Do these job postings indicate that Microsoft is working on a next-gen console?  The description for one of the jobs certainly leans that way:  “The team is responsible for defining and delivering next generation console architectures from conception through implementation."  Xbox 360 has been out since 2005 so even with the recent release of the Kinect, the timing is about right.  After seeing screenshots from the next-gen tech demos, we’re ready to embrace the future.  Bring on the Xbox 720!
