Your gym locker just got a little less safe.

As project for their Principles of Engineering class, four students at Olin College of Engineering  decided to build a machine that could crack the code of any MasterLock padlock.

If you can manage to sit through the "Pop, Lock & Drop It" instrumental, the video explains how the the students build the LockCracker over a 10-week period using a number of motors and some Python coding. Despite it's harrowing potential to be miniaturized and used for less than wholesome uses, it's pretty damn cool. According to the video, it takes an average of 28 minutes to crack the combination for a lock. Imagine if this thing gets refined.

MasterLock better step its game up.
