It's no secret that the new generation of West Coast emcees have been steadily killing it over the last few years. Schoolboy Q is slowly becoming one of the major players in the movement, and Friday at the Key Club will be his first time rocking a show as the headliner. He released his street album Setbacks earlier this year, dropped a few visuals for the project, and has been working with fellow Black Hippy members Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar. Tiron and Skeme will also be on the bill along with other special guests. There's a good chance Kendrick will be one of those guests since they're under the same Top Dawg Entertainment umbrella, have collaborated, and he co-signed Schoolboy as one of his favorite L.A. artists via Twitter.
