You've got to love pilot casting season, if only because it means an endless parade of nubile young actresses (or "goddesses," if you're talking Sheen-speak) will be added to pilots with the hopes that their sexuality will help with a series pick-up. With that in mind, say hello, courtesy of Deadline, to Katie Cassidy and Georgetown.

The prospective series, which stars James Wolk (Lone Star) as a presidential speechwriter, sounds like a combination of The O.C. and The West Wing. Cassidy, formerly of the failed Melrose Place reboot and Gossip Girl, has been tapped to play "a smart and quick-witted junior staffer in the White House Communications Office with connections to the First Lady." She's also a model. Of course.

Look for Georgetown to hit ABC next fall...if we're lucky.
