At the beginning of each month, Complex takes a look at five cool "First Friday" parties happening around the country. Today we look at a party for locals (and in-the-know out of towners) in Vegas.
For once, forget the Vegas parties where the high rollers go. The Getback is the party where the real Las Vegas residents get down. Located in a spot off the strip in downtown Vegas called The Beauty Bar, The Getback focuses on creating a soulful dance party where hip-hop is being spun right alongside James Brown and the objective for all DJs is to make the crowd move.
