Martin Scorsese and an all-star cast (Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Daniel Day-Lewis) made one of the best films of the 00's. There's few who can do the crime and gangster genres like Scorsese can, and the film set in 1863 New York earned him his first Golden Globe for Best Director. Gangs of New York marks the first time DiCaprio and Scorsese linked up for a film, and it's been cinematic gold ever since. ArcLight has a no late-seating policy, so when showtime starts, they no longer sell tickets. Be sure to get there early and cop from a kiosk, or do so online here.
