Once again, Hollywood suits are mining the video game world for material. Varietyreports that Screen Gems has plans to develop Devil May Cry into a feature film, with screenwriter Kyle Ward signed on to pen the screenplay. Ward is a surprise pick to pen the Capcom title mainly because his two recent feature-length scripts, the comic book adaptation Kane & Lynch (which has Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx attached to star) and Fiasco Heights, have yet to be filmed. Screen Gems hopes they've found a winner in Devil May Cry's main character, Dante, a man battling the forces of evil to avenge the death of his mother.
