Young Steve Jobs Gets His First Taste of the Lime Light

Before the killer keynotes, '70s Steve can't believe he's on TV.

For a guy who's famous for making god-like proclamations on stage, it's kind of funny to see Steve Jobs once so awestruck at the prospect of being on television. This found footage of an interview prep from the '70s shows a young Jobs rocking a sweet hair-do and marveling at his image on an off camera monitor while giddily chatting with PAs. We don't think this is nerves, or shyness, though-- he's enjoying it too much. (Notice how he sternly corrects a woman off stage who suggests he's joking about the possibility of throwing up). Call it a megamind's first taste of grandeur.
