Worst Performances: We Are Marshall (2006), Vantage Point (2008), Speed Racer (2008), Lost (ABC, 2004-2010)

The writing staff behind the now-iconic ABC show Lost really deserves major props. Through intelligent enigmas and multiple character development, the scribes were able to maintain interest in a long-running show anchored by the bland and artificially brooding Matthew Fox. He's prone to roles that require a great deal of gravitas and talk-show-clip-worthy emotion, yet he's unable conjure either trait up naturally—it's always forced. Movie casting directors must agree; Fox has yet to land a feature film role—or one in any medium, for that matter—since Lost ended last May.
