Something bizarre happened in the 2008 war drama Stop-Loss: Channing Tatum actually came across as a solid actor. Haters were left dumbfounded, but it didn't take long for the model-turned-actor to remind us all why we cringe at his name in a movie's credits. From his wooden turn in G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, to the robotic line-readings heard in Dear John, and, most recently, to his mishandling of the lead role in The Eagle, Tatum is a superficial girl's dream come true. That leaves little to salute for us fellas, since he labors through every dramatic scene pushed in his direction.
