Like rap? Like to read? You don't even have to say yes to both to love Dan Charnas's book The Big Payback. Released in December to critical acclaim, The Big Payback is the story of rap's rise from rec room diversion to multi-billion dollar juggernaut. Dan gave Complex the Cliffs Notes version when the book dropped, and this weekend he's appearing at various bookstores around Los Angeles giving readings and talking rap. It's a fascinating book, we can't imagine they won't be a series of fascinating readings as well.
