We still kinda can't get over the fact that it's Ken Cosgrove from Mad Men walking around 1940s L.A., but this new L.A. Noire video gives us something else we're gonna have to get over: the ridiculous lifelikeness of it all. We've seen games with incredible cutscenes and glorious lighting, but we've never seen a game with better facial animations. But beyond technological breakthroughs, the video offers a closer look at the various gameplay mechanics—from shootouts to intuition to interrogations—that you'll find yourself using as you play through the mystery title's many case files.
