Not excited about yet another Martin-Lawrence-in-drag flick? Well, we can't blame you, but maybe this will cheer you up. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, the Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son star revealed that he's optimistic that Bad Boys 3 will get made, and that all of the major players from the first two films were interested in the sequel as well.

"They're working on a script now," said Lawrence. "That's something I think looks very real. Will told me that he wanted to do it as well. Michael Bay I heard was on board and Jerry Bruckheimer. We'll see."

Lawrence also said that there was “no timeline” in place for a potential shooting date. This may be a saving grace for Lawrence, because Big Mammas: Like Father, Like Son is currently getting shredded by critics. A return to the Bad Boys franchise might be just what his career needs.
