Linking Marion Cotillard to The Dark Knight Rises is only right, since it seems that damn near everyone in Inception, aside from Leonardo DiCaprio, has either signed the dotted line or been rumored for the project. Empire reports, via French newspaper Le Figaro, that the pregnant actress will take a break to give birth. But, if Le Figaro has its facts straight, she's choosing director Christopher Nolan's follow-up to 2008's monster hit The Dark Knight, as the only film she'll shoot before childbirth.
With Anne Hathaway already on board as Selina Kyle (and, possibly, Catwoman?) and Tom Hardy playing the villainous Bane, Cotillard could potentially become any female in the Gotham City universe. So far, all's unconfirmed at the Bat-camp, and until Nolan says anything we'll just have to imagine what role the Oscar-winning actress can play.
The Dark Knight Rises begins shooting in May, with Christian Bale and Michael Caine reprising their roles of Bruce Wayne/Batman and Alfred, respectively. The film is scheduled for a July 20, 2012 release.

What happened to the rumors of Eddie Murphy being in the next movie?? The cast so far sounds straight, but it'll be interesting to see how Hathaway swings with the high action.
