At a special webOS event in San Francisco, HP unveiled the products that will take the newly acquired Palm into the future: the highly anticipated TouchPad tablet, the improved Pre 3 smartphone, and a new entry-level touchscreen phone, the Veer. Here's what we know:

Palm TouchPad

   • 9.7" 1024 x 768 Display
   • Dual-core, 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor
   • 1.6 pounds, 13.7 mm thick
   • 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1
   • Gyro, compass, accelerometer

 

Palm Pre 3

   • Larger QWERTY Keyboard

Palm Veer

   • 54.5 mm x 84.0 mm x 15.1 mm and only 103 grams (about the size of a credit card).
