Fresh Gear: Cardboard USB Drive Concept

Imagine sharing your data with these ultra-light disposable drives.

We've seen a lot of cool (and cheesy) variations on USB thumb drives— everything from Swiss Army Knives to lighters— but Russian design firm Art Lebedev's "Flashkus" concept might be our favorite yet. The industrial design team goes clean, basic and eco-friendly with a vision of thumb drives that are made of cardboard— making them ultra-light and recyclable. Coolest of all, they come on perforated sheets for easy "tear-n-share" distribution. And because they're cardboard, you can just write whatever you want on the side to label them.

Start praying to the concept gods that someone makes these a reality.
