Ever since "up, up, down, down, right, left, right, left, B, A, Start," Contra has rung bells from the hood to the 'burbs. The classic franchise's latest entry, Hard Corps: Uprising—the first to not bear the Contra name—will be released as part of Xbox Live's five-week Arcade House Party promotion (we're still trying to figure out why this is a big deal). Brand new screens and an official release date for the highly anticipated DLC were released today. It's slightly updated, but the cap-peeling shoot-'em-up fun looks as ill as ever. Especially if we can count on that spread gun making an appearance. Hard Corps: Uprising will be available for download on February 16, 2011 for 1200 Microsoft Points.
