#19: JORDAN NAGAI AS RUSSELL IN UP (2009)

If not for the animated hit’s fat little Asian kid Russell, Pixar’s lauded Up would’ve simply been the story of a crotchety old man flying around the sky in his house. It still would’ve been great (see: Pixar), but sorely lacking in levity. Russell (voiced by then-9-year-old Jordan Nagai) tapped into the wide-eyed, innocent kid inside all of us, the one that’s gradually disintegrating due to such adult realities as work, failed romances, and too much booze. Our inner child’s alcohol tolerance rivals most grown men.
