Live show:Gordon Voidwell at Lincoln Center (David Rubenstein Atrium), tonight, 8:30 p.m. (free). The Bronx born-and-bred Gordon Voidwell has a style that's definitely more downtown scene than BX. He's clearly influenced by 80's funk acts like Prince and Cameo, along with the indie electro scene of today. Expect good vocals and lots of synths; if you're a fan of new school genre-benders like Theophilus London, you'll want to check this show.
Film screening: Pee-wee's Big Adventure at IFC Center, tonight and tomorrow, 12:05 a.m. The childhood cult classic is rated PG, so don't pull a Pee-Wee and do anything that'll get you kicked out.
Bar re-opening:Rum House, Edison Hotel (228 West 47th St.). The Times Square staple re-opened its doors this past Monday and is under new management (the same folks who own Tribeca's Ward III). Check out some of the upgrades, including a new cocktail list and some snazzy renovations.

Film screening: Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer at the Gene Siskel Film Center (164 N. State St.), tonight, 6 p.m. The disgraced former New York governor is best known for his 2008 sex scandal, but he first made waves rallying against the Gambino crime family and corruption in big business. This doc explores his enemies' possible role in Spitzer's demise, as well as the gov's own demons.
Health/fitness:National Yoga Day 2011 at Galter Life Center (5157 N. Francisco Ave.), Sunday, 9:30-11 a.m. (free). It's well documented that yoga has tons of benefits for your body, and it's no secret that girls who do yoga typically have great and flexible bodies. Go in, do some stretches, then look for something nice for you to stretch out with.
Live show/party: Felix Da Housecat at The Mid (306 N. Halsted), Saturday, 10 p.m.-4 a.m. (Tickets: $10). Felix has been an integral part of the second wave of Chicago house, so there's no doubt he'll be killin' shit at The Mid.

Art crawl:Venice Art Crawl, tonight, 6p.m.-10pm. This group meets on the third Thursday of every month; join them as they travel around hitting galleries and other artsy destinations. Check their site for a list of stops, and bring your bike to get some exercise along with your art fix.
Film screening: 2001: A Space Odyssey at Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Blvd.), Friday, 7:30pm, (Tickets $11, $9 w/ student ID). There's a good chance Stanley Kubrick's classic has influenced your favorite sci-fi director. Definitely come check this in theaters instead of simply adding it to your Netflix queue.
Film/music festival:L.A. Music Video Festival at Downtown Independent (251 South Main St.), Sunday, 11a.m.-8p.m., (Tickets $10 Individual event, $30 all day passes). With just about anyone being able to put out music videos these days, great ones are becoming even harder to come by. Come recognize some of the top upcoming directors, peep some award winners, and hear panels about the business side of things. We recommend grabbing an all day pass to get the most bang for your buck and the invite to the after-party at Echoplex.
