WHAT: Good airport food

WHERE: Gate 79, Montreal Trudeau International Airport

WHEN: Saturday (Jan 15), 10 a.m.

I think it's pretty hard to find good airport food! The Montreal airport just got an upgrade and added some cool new restaurants to their repertoire. The bagel bar is pretty tasty. You have to make it past U.S. customs if you want to taste what I'm talking about.

WHAT: Everything bagel

WHERE: Atlas Cafe, 37 Clinton St., Lower East Side

WHEN: Saturday (Jan 15), 7 p.m.

I stopped by the COA Agency to see my homie Damon Green (fellow Canadian) so we could chop it up, he took me to his neighborhood cafe named Atlas and he proclaimed that they had the best bagels in the city. Being from Montreal, those statements can be some fighting words but it lived up to the hype. All everything bagel with cream cheese!

WHAT: Dollar dollar bill, y'all

WHERE: 69 Chinese Restaurant, 69 Bayard St., Chinatown

WHEN: Saturday (Jan 15), 8 p.m.

My friend William Yan treated me to a dope, inexpensive quick fix supper at 69 Restaurant in Chinatown. When naming this restaurant they exhausted all possibilities and just decided to name it after their door number. How creative! What was cool about this place is that it was totally covered in donated dollar bills, which might make it a bit enticing for the neighborhood homeless trying to make a quick payday.

WHAT: The most powerful showerhead I've ever seen.

WHERE: Soho Grand Hotel

WHEN: Saturday (Jan 15), 11 p.m.

Remember that Seinfeld episode where Kramer and Newman were trying to buy black market showerheads? Well, I think I found the most powerful showerhead ever! This sleek and well designed showerhead was the most powerful I've ever used, the Commando 450 has nothing on it. If your superintendent decides to change your showerheads to low pressure, you know where you could stay for the night.

WHAT: Room service at the Soho Grand

WHERE: Soho Grand Hotel

WHEN: Sunday (Jan 16), 7 p.m.

The best part of my hotel stays has to be the room service, especially when it's on the house. What I like to do is inquire with guest services and find out what's the best thing on the menu and then make my choices from there. On this particular night the chef cooked up a delicious tuna burger and it did not disappoint.
