Ten years ago, Verbier was considerably less known and, therefore, better. But it's still astounding. Swiss quality permeates this massive place to the point where even the powder seems a step up from regular peasant powder. The unfortunate increase in hardcore, pow-pillaging locals over the last decade should not deter you from all the Verbier area offers, whether that's fall-and-die chutes, meaty cliffs, or wooly runs that involve jumping stone fences and jibbing farmer's roofs before cracking a cold beer on the train ride home. Your legs have never been this tired, your smile never so big.
