Complex says: Over the summer, Sprint popped its 4G cherry by introducing its fourth-generation wireless service, along with the world's first 4G smartphone: the HTC EVO 4G. T-Mobile and Verizon soon followed with their own high-speed service and phones. Several cities have already made the transition to support 4G connections, but there are several areas across the country where it's still missing. So as mobilephiles continue to drop serious cash on the latest and greatest smartphones, it's pretty clear that 4G will soon become the standard.
